NAVIGATOR processes your personal data in accordance with the applicable Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette of the RS”, No. 87/2018), as well as other applicable legal regulations, depending on what data is processed.
NAVIGATOR processes your personally identifiable information lawfully, fairly and transparently with respect to the data subject, for purposes that are specifically defined, explicit, justified and lawful and may not be processed in a manner inconsistent with that purpose, and the data we process is appropriate, relevant and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purpose of the processing.
The data we process is processed in a way that provides adequate protection of personal data, including protection against unauthorized or unlawful processing, as well as from accidental loss, destruction or damage through the application of appropriate technical, organizational and personnel measures.
This document provides information about the type of data we process, the purpose for which we collect, use and processes it, as well as your rights regarding the personal data in question.

The types of personal information we collect
Since 2004, NAVIGATOR has been successfully consulting, designing, developing and implementing systems in the field of information and telecommunications technologies. We provide software development and implementation, offshore application development, as well as maintenance and development of our own software solutions on the territory of Serbia, former Yugoslav republics and EU countries.
To our Clients – legal entities, we offer products that we have created ourselves – information systems, which serve to improve and facilitate business in manufacturing, trade, catering and service activities.
NAVIGATOR also offers IT Consulting, Outsourcing, IT Solutions and Business Intelligence services to its Clients.
When creating information systems and providing services, NAVIGATOR has access only to the personal data that the Client – legal entity gives them access to. The given personal data are first and last name, address, contact phone and e-mail address and are used solely for the purpose of creating user accounts of a specific information system, as well as for contacting the Client.
In order to maintain the information system, the Client may enable the NAVIGATOR to access a specific user account. The aforementioned personal information is not retained and is used by NAVIGATOR solely for the sole purpose of maintaining the information system and improving the function of the information system.
NAVIGATOR also offers its Clients the ability to store data on their servers, where the Client directly stores the data it wants to store. The aforementioned data is accessible to the NAVIGATOR only if it is approved by the Client and then to the extent necessary for the maintenance of the information system, ie for the provision of a specific service. NAVIGATOR does not process or use this information for any purpose.
When processing transactions – making invoices, posting payments by invoices and other accounting and bookkeeping activities, NAVIGATOR uses the data of its Clients – legal entities, where the contact person may include the name of the individual with the Client. The name and surname of the individual with the Client are not used by NAVIGATOR for purposes other than contact with the Client.

Purpose of processing and legal basis
NAVIGATOR uses your information for the following purposes:
- Creating user accounts
- Provision of basic services
- Transaction processing
- Communication with users
- Offers of new products and services

NAVIGATOR shall process personal data in accordance with Article 12, paragraph 1, items 1, 2 and 3 of the Law on Personal Data Protection (“Official Gazette of RS”, No. 87/2018), ie:
- based on your consent to the processing of your personal data for one or more specific purposes,
- because processing is necessary to execute the contract concluded with you as the data subject or to take action, at your request as the data subject, before concluding the contract and
- processing is necessary to comply with the legal obligations of NAVIGATOR as operator.
Data users
Access to your data have:
- Employees of NAVIGATOR to the extent necessary to perform the contract entered into with you as the data subject with the Client – legal entity, or to take action at your request as data subjects or with the Client as a legal entity, in order to fulfill the purpose of processing (creating user accounts, providing basic services, processing transactions, communicating with you as a user, offering new products and services, and other purposes)
- IT support to the extent necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing (creation of user accounts, provision of basic services, processing of transactions);
Data protection
In accordance with the level of technological achievements and the costs of their application, the nature, scope, circumstances and purpose of processing, as well as the likelihood of occurrence of risks and the level of risk to the rights and freedoms of individuals, NAVIGATOR implements appropriate technical, organizational and personnel measures to achieve the appropriate level of security in relation to risk.
NAVIGATOR protects your information by using the following security measures:
- Antivirus protection and other appropriate technological and IT protection
NAVIGATOR has taken appropriate measures to ensure that all systems, services and equipment used to process your personal data meet the acceptable standards of information security and protection of personal data.
NAVIGATOR performs regular checks and scans to ensure that hardware and software security measures are functioning properly.
- User role system
Access to the collected personal data is available in NAVIGATOR only to those who have a legal basis for their processing, with appropriate records of each access and eventual update.
The user role system defines the appropriate levels of access rights to the collected personal data. The user role system defines first and foremost what data the user to whom a particular role is assigned can access at all, and then how they can process it. In this case, users are employees and IT support.
User roles intended for employees are aligned with their roles in business processes, ie with descriptions of their jobs, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure.
Employees and IT support are given access only to the personal data they need to complete the activities they perform.
Updating of personal data, ie modification and deletion of data, is only possible for those employees to whom it belongs in the job description, in accordance with the Rules of Procedure.
NAVIGATOR keeps your information for a period not longer than is necessary for the provision of services to you, as well as for compliance with our legal obligations, in accordance with Article 24 of the Law on Accounting (“Official Gazette of the RS”, Nos. 62/2013 and 30 / 2018), for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Automated decision making and profiling
NAVIGATOR does not perform automated decision making and profiling.
Personal data transfer
NAVIGATOR does not perform personal data transfer outside of EU territory or outside of territory of the Republic of Serbia.

Notes files
When you visit our website, the following information is stored first: your IP address (solely to protect our systems), remote host, data transmissions, referral page, as well as date and time. In addition, we will store the user tool, browser, and operating system for optimization purposes.
Processing is done solely to protect our systems (avoid abuse), for statistical analysis purposes and to optimize our services and website. We do not perform personalized evaluation without your prior consent.

- The right to require processing restriction from NAVIGATOR,

- Right to revoke consent at any time, except that revocation of consent does not affect the admissibility of consent-based processing prior to revocation,

- The right to know whether we are processing your personal data, access to your personal data, information about the purpose of the processing, the types of data being processed, the recipient or types of recipients to whom the personal data have been disclosed or will be disclosed, and in particular to recipients in other countries or international organizations, on the foreseen retention period for personal data, or, if this is not possible, on the criteria for setting that deadline.
At your request, NAVIGATOR will provide you with a copy of the data it processes that relate to you. The NAVIGATOR may require reimbursement of the necessary expenses for making the additional copies required by the data subject.
